The Dane will always be remembered as the man who threw away an Open when seemingly on his way to glory at Royal St Georges three years ago. Memories of that fateful day have clearly haunted him at subsequent championships as he has missed both cuts since so just making the weekend would at least start to exorcise some of the demons. A winner in Europe already this season, Bjorn remains infuriatingly erratic, mixing sublime golf with decidedly average play that makes exactly what he is capable of achieving on any any given week tough to nail down. If - and it is a big if - he can produce something like his best for four rounds, he could once again be a force to be reckoned with.
